📅 UPDATES & INFO FOR FOR JUNE 19, 2025

We’ve enlisted the help of a temporary staffing agency to provide additional support around the Resort. These extra hands are helping our team catch up on tasks and ensure that Badin Shores Resort is looking its best for the season.

📝 MEETING MINUTES

Board meeting minutes will be updated by end of day tomorrow (June 20, 2025). Thank you for your patience as we finalize and post the official record.

🚨 REMINDERS

  • Speed Limit: The speed limit throughout the Resort is 10 MPH. Please drive slowly—families, children, and pets are walking, biking, and enjoying the park. Safety is our top priority.

  • Pool Bands: All pool users must wear their BSR-issued pool bands. Prior year bands are acceptable.

  • Clean Up After Events: If your club or group uses any community facilities, please remove all trash and leave the space clean for the next group.

  • Beach Bathhouse Access: The area near the beach bathhouses is for loading and unloading only. Please do not park in this area.

  • Repainting of stop signs and speed bumps throughout the Resort

  • Owner’s gate repair is ongoing — barcodes are scanning, but the gate arm is not opening. Technicians are working on a solution

Badin Shores Resort (BSR) Info, Updates, Reminders – June 2025

📬 Mail & Package Delivery Reminder
Please remember: you must have a mailbox at BSR to receive mail and packages. All packages must be picked up from the guard shack after you receive a notification from BSR. Even if tracking (Amazon, FedEx, etc.) shows delivery, it must be logged into our system before pickup. Once notified, please pick up items promptly—storage space is extremely limited at the clubhouse.

Deliveries of food, perishables, flowers, furniture, or appliances may be delivered directly to your property. Please notify the guards in advance if you’re expecting a delivery of this kind.

📦 Package Pickup Reminder
Please do not attempt to collect packages until you receive a BSR notification confirming they are ready. Timely pickup is appreciated due to limited space.

📊 April Financials Update
Thank you for your patience. April financials will be available soon. This was the month we transitioned to a new software system, and the accountant has worked diligently to learn and fine-tune it. All payments from January through March had to be manually entered to ensure complete and accurate year-to-date records for each homeowner, which required additional review time.

🏖 Playground Update
The new playground equipment for the beach has been delivered! We’re looking forward to connecting it to the existing monkey bars and opening it for use soon.

🔒 Facility Improvements
We are currently installing deadbolt covers on the beach bathhouses to improve safety and prevent misuse.

🚻 Bathroom Etiquette Reminder
Please be respectful when using shared restrooms:

  • Sit on the toilet when using it

  • Use toilet paper to clean yourself

  • Flush after use

  • Wash your hands

  • Dispose of trash in the appropriate bins

Let’s all do our part to keep facilities clean and usable for everyone.

🐾 Pet Etiquette Reminder
Please keep pets on your property. Cats should not be allowed to roam freely or damage other property. Dogs must not be allowed to relieve themselves on another homeowner’s lot. Also, do not feed stray animals—unfixed and unmanaged animals can become a community-wide nuisance.

🚨 Staff Conduct Reminder
Please treat all BSR staff, including guards and pool attendants, with courtesy and respect. Harassment, threats, or aggressive behavior toward staff will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action by the Association.

🛠 Maintenance & Staffing Updates
We are currently hiring for both a Maintenance Technician and a Maintenance Supervisor. The Board of Directors is reviewing applications and working to fill these positions.

🚧 Ongoing & Upcoming Projects

  • Pothole repairs throughout the community

  • Repainting speed bumps and stop signs on the roads

  • Painting at the putt-putt course, pool bathhouse, and pool railings

🏡 For Sale Sign & Realtor Reminders
If you have your property listed for sale, please remind your realtor to visit our website for important community information.

“For Sale” signs are permitted with the following guidelines:

  • Maximum size: 18” x 24” (including frame/stand)

  • Placement: At least 2 feet from the edge of the road
Signs not meeting these requirements may be removed by Maintenance and either laid on the lot or brought to the shop for pickup.

🏊 Pool Reminders & Rules
• Do not hang on or play with the safety ropes
• Do not climb or play on the fountain
• No glass in the pool area—including bottles in coozies
• Pool bands are required for all users. Prior years’ bands are valid or visit the office for current bands
