Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm – Coffee and soft drinks provided.

There will be a 1/2-hour break for lunch (not provided) – There is a restaurant in the park.

Cost: $25.00 per student

Location: Badin Resort Club House

Located inside Badin Lake Resort

After completing the class, students will be mailed their certificate and ID card.

Introduction to Boating – Boating Law – Navigation – Safe Boating – Boat Problems – Trailering, Storing and Protecting Your Boat – Boat Safety Equipment

BSR Homeowner,
I wanted to just say thank you so much for your phone calls, in-person visits and your emails, I have had so far. Volunteering is the best way to help your non-profit HOA and joining a committee is a good place to start. Some of the homeowners, I have talked with, have some really good ideals and I think the sky’s the limit and teamwork is the key and BSR has that without question. The Badin Shores Public Water System is reminding residents to avoid pouring cooking grease down the drain ahead of time.

Many Homeowners and Guests tend to improperly dispose of the grease. This causes a clog in sewer lines, leading to a major sewage backup and potentially serious damage to your home.

So how can you safely get rid of that unwanted grease? SAWS says you can scrape grease solids directly into a lined trash can, pour cooled liquid grease into a sealable container and wipe the remaining grease and debris with a paper towel. You can then throw all three of those in your rash bag.
